Our Family
Both Solaris Paper and Sorbent Paper Company have a strategic alliance with APP (Asia Pulp and Paper), one of the few vertically integrated tissue businesses that own the complete supply chain from tree to finished goods. This vertically integrated business model provides tremendous flexibility and management control, which gives our customers a sustainable supply chain with improved margin opportunities that doesn’t compromise quality. Sustainability is critical to our business now and in the future. As a socially, economically and environmentally responsible company we adhere to stringent Australian and international environmental laws, only sourcing our fibre from internationally certified suppliers. We have extensive independent auditing across all aspects of our supply chain including PEFC, the largest global forest certification program. We are committed to zero deforestation and zero illegal logging. We sustainably manage forestry sources which conserve areas of outstanding habitat and operate in harmony with local communities. Our Manufacturing Sites
Solaris Paper has a state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Western Sydney. Established in 2010, this converting and finishing facility covers 18,000m2 and is committed to supporting local community development. Our sister company, Sorbent Paper Company, has an established manufacturing site in Melbourne covering 85,000m2. As part of our strategic alliance, we also source products from our Indonesian mills that adhere to our stringent quality and accreditation requirements.
